The Israeli Prime Minister believes that Israel should have security control over all territory west of the Jordan Valley.
Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has expressed to the United States his opposition to the creation of a Palestinian state as part of a post-war scenario in Gaza.
As he emphasized at a press conference, he is determined to block the creation of a Palestinian state as part of a “day after” scenario for the Gaza war, nor does he support the idea of giving control to the Palestinian state . Palestinian National Authority (ANP).
Netanyahu has added that the majority of the Israeli population rejects a possible Palestinian state, an initiative that the Joe Biden administration supports as part of the so-called two-state solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
According to him, in any possible agreement with the Palestinians, Israel must maintain security control over all territory west of the Jordan Valley, meaning an important part of the West Bank that has been occupied by Israel since 1967.
