Two officers injured – aggressive patient punched a police officer in the face

Since the rescuers were overwhelmed by a patient who was a bit unreasonable, they asked for support from the police. The violent patient punched an officer in the face multiple times and attacked other police officers and paramedics with a stethoscope.

Police were called to the 15th precinct on Sunday evening to support a rescue operation due to an unreasonable patient. The man was lying on the floor of a stairwell.

After the police arrived, the man became extremely aggressive and insulted the police. Suddenly he attacked a female officer and punched her in the face several times. He then grabbed a stethoscope from one of the paramedics present and began running around and attacking the police officers and paramedics present.

Kicking and punching
The 35-year-old defended himself against arrest with kicks and punches. Two officers were injured during the official act due to the violent resistance. They were unable to continue their work and were taken to hospitals for further examination. The arrested man also lashed out in the detention area and attacked the officers present.

Multiple serious physical damage
The 35-year-old, who said he had used drugs before the crime, denied the crime during questioning and said he could not remember anything. After consultation with the Vienna public prosecutor’s office, the suspect was taken to a prison. The investigation is being conducted on suspicion of resistance to state authority, multiple serious physical injuries and physical attacks on health or rescue workers, among other things.
