Despite immediate resuscitation measures by the officers, the emergency doctor could only determine that the 56-year-old was dead.
Shortly before the German border, a Croatian driver, who lived in Germany, died after a serious traffic accident on the Innkreis highway on Saturday around 10:45 p.m. For reasons that are still unclear, she crashed head-on into a concrete wall in front of border controls and died on the spot.
No chance for the driver
Although the officers immediately took resuscitation measures and the emergency doctor and rescue team quickly arrived on the scene, they could only confirm that the 56-year-old was dead. No other vehicles were involved in the accident. The police are investigating.
