A skier (64) from Klagenfurt fell off the slopes in the Heiligenblut ski area. The crew of the rescue helicopter “C7” rushed to help.
A 64-year-old from Klagenfurt had a serious accident in the Heiligenblut ski area on Saturday around 1 p.m. During his descent on the Muldenabfahrt, for reasons that are still unclear, he lost control, veered off the slope and fell approximately six meters into a forest.
Saved by rope
The rescue operation required the deployment of a C7 rescue helicopter, which freed the injured man from his predicament with a rope. After the successful rescue, he was immediately flown to UKH Klagenfurt. It is still unclear how seriously the man was injured in his accident.
