Florian Kreibich’s ‘It’s about everything’ is quite exaggerated when you look at the big picture. There hasn’t been a municipal election in a long time with so many unanswered questions. The incumbent mayor Harald Preuner (ÖVP) will resign after the elections. With the KPÖ Plus there is a party that almost out of nowhere achieved more than 20 percent in the state elections a year ago. And last but not least: there was no independent investigation before the elections. So the candidates only know their own poll data to assess where they stand.
