A 44-year-old East Styria became a lifesaver with his accidental discovery: Saturday evening he discovered an unconscious man with a moped in the ditch in Pischelsdorf. The alarmed rescue team managed to resuscitate the 72-year-old victim. It is not yet clear how the accident could have happened, and the police are investigating.
On Saturday evening around 6.30 pm, the Red Cross received an emergency call: a 44-year-old resident had found an unconscious man in a ditch in Pischelsdorf am Kulm (Weiz district). He may have fallen with the moped, which was also in the ditch.
The alarmed rescue service resuscitated the 72-year-old from the Weiz district who had been in an accident and stabilized him so that he could be flown to the LKH Graz in the rescue helicopter.
According to the police, it is still completely unclear how the accident happened, there are no witnesses – at least no one has reported it so far. The investigation is underway.
