UAGA leader today in Vitoria to demand the presence of the primary sector on the election agenda

Date:

The tractors will leave at 11 a.m. from the Buesa parking lot to the UAGA headquarters, located on Santiago Avenue, from where the demonstration will leave at noon at the farmers market in Plaza de Santa Barbara.

The Agricultural Union UAGA called this Thursday a new tractor through the center of Vitoria-Gasteiz to remember during the election campaign that agriculture and livestock farming are of strategic importance for society.

Following the mobilizations in the primary sector in recent months, the UAGA has declared another protest after “seeing with concern how agriculture and livestock farming hardly feature in political speeches, despite the promises of all parties to meet the demands we demanded on the street. “.

For this reason, UAGA delivered to the headquarters of all last Monday political parties a set of demands from Alava’s primary sector so that none of them forget the sector’s priorities for the next term.

Today the tractors leave from the Buesa parking lot at 11am.to the UAGA headquarters, located on Santiago Avenue, from where the demonstration will leave at noon for the farmers market in Plaza de Santa Bárbara.

The aim is that society and politicians “continue to bear in mind our demands and remember that the primary sector is of strategic importance for the future of the Basque Country,” the union emphasizes.
