Six family members from Obertrum near Salzburg complained of dizziness and nausea late on Monday evening. The next day there is at least one new discovery.
A major operation took place in the state of Salzburg on Monday evening, the ‘Krone’ reports. Six family members from Obertrum between the ages of three and 72 showed symptoms of poisoning after an incident. They complained of dizziness and nausea.
The rescuers transferred the victims to the Salzburg State Hospital and the Hospital of the Brothers of Mercy. The next day there were new findings, even though the cause remained a mystery to researchers.
Carbon monoxide poisoning ruled out
The suspicion that this is carbon monoxide poisoning can be ruled out after a blood test. A spokeswoman for the Salzburg State Police explained this to the “Krone”. The leftover food is now being examined in hospitals.
