The Florianijünger had to go on a difficult mission in Pfunds (Landeck district) in Tyrol on Tuesday! The garage of a commercial building was on fire. An attempt to extinguish the fire with a hose failed. Four people were taken to hospital for checks.
Around 4:35 p.m. a fire broke out in a closed garage of a farm building. The owner first tried to extinguish the fire with a water hose. However, because this did not work, he alerted the fire brigade. They quickly brought the fire under control and prevented it from spreading to the building and the floors above.
Four people in hospital
The operation took more than two hours before the “fire out” could be reported. The four by six meter garage burned down completely. Four people were taken to Zams Hospital for checks.
The building itself suffered significant damage and had to be closed due to the damage. It is currently unclear what caused the fire. Further investigations are underway.
