As reported, an unknown person demanded the employees of a bank branch in Vienna-Floridsdorf to hand over cash with the words “Bring it on, otherwise it will rattle.” Now the police have published mugshots in a bid to track down the fugitive.
Shortly before 10 a.m. last Friday, an unknown man threatened employees in the bank branch. Without success, because the employees were not at all impressed and simply refused to hand over cash. Shortly afterwards he fled again towards the Floridsdorf train station.
Failed quest
During the search, train traffic at Floridsdorf train station was even briefly interrupted. No one was injured in the incident. There has been no trace of the fugitive since then. Police are now asking for more information.
The search is underway
The search for the unknown man is still in full swing. The Banking and Insurance Department of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce is offering a cash prize of 2,000 euros for information leading to the identification of the perpetrator.
All relevant information, especially information about the suspect or information from people who saw the suspect before or after the crime, is requested, even anonymously, from the Vienna State Criminal Investigation Department on 01-31310-33800.
