It was 10 a.m. when the cell phone of suspect Lungauer (56) rang. “I called him to ask if we wanted to drink beer together,” the victim said as a witness during the court trial on Wednesday, and also described the suspect as a friend: “We often helped each other.” a case of beer that day. And the victim also said: “I’m glad he intervened and saved my life.”
The Lungauer accepted the defendant’s apology: both shook hands, hugged each other briefly and those present at the trial heard the words: “Stay a friend.” After the confession of intentional infliction of serious bodily harm, the judge announced two years’ partial prison sentence, six of which were unconditional.
