The Israeli army says it has found the bodies of three hostages in the Gaza Strip. Army spokesman Daniel Hagari announced this on Friday. The third victim was a 59-year-old Israeli-Brazilian national from the southern city of Sderot, Hagari said. The bodies were found in the Jabalia refugee settlement as part of a coordinated operation by army special forces and the Shin Bet domestic intelligence agency. The remains of Shani Louk and three other victims were also found there last week.
The attack by Palestinian terrorists and the kidnapping of more than 250 hostages to the Gaza Strip sparked the Gaza War.
