According to the police, the young man was driving on Weizer Straße (B 72) in the direction of Birkfeld when he left the road in a left bend in Feistritz, collided with a traffic sign and knocked it over. He then fell down a steep embankment and the motorcycle landed directly in the adjacent Feistritz River.
