The Red Cross provided a total of 2,100 visitors, around 200,000 people were present at the festival. The team mainly dealt with everyday injuries such as abrasions and cuts, blunt injuries after accidents and bee stings. 65 injured people were taken to a hospital for further examination.
Crisis intervention teams were also present on the festival site 24 hours a day. They took care of twenty people. The police spoke of a fairly quiet festival; there were no major incidents. The organizations worked well together, says Manuel Komosny of the Red Cross Burgenland.
