A 29-year-old Tyrolean was hit and injured by a car in Niederndorferberg (Kufstein district) on Sunday night. According to witnesses, an unknown driver hit the man who was lying on the gravel pit while parking.
According to witness statements, a previously unknown man drove a car onto a gravel bed while parking in the local fire department parking lot around 2:30 a.m. The driver may have overlooked a 29-year-old Austrian man lying on the ground.
Injured taken to hospital
“Immediately after the accident, the unknown driver and the passenger got out of the vehicle and fled,” the police said. The 29-year-old was taken to hospital in Kufstein with serious injuries. “Investigations are underway to track down the fugitives,” the director said.
