An 18-year-old woman from Villach tried to prevent her boyfriend from being arrested and became violent towards the police officers who intervened. Shortly afterwards, the 18-year-old was arrested by the police.
The police carried out an administrative arrest of a young man at 12:36 on Sunday. His 18-year-old girlfriend obviously did not want to accept this. “The woman from Villach tried to disrupt the official procedure. She hit an officer in the face with her fist,” the police reported.
Girlfriend now faces serious problems
This brought her to the full attention of the officers: she was arrested and while her boyfriend is ‘only’ threatened with an administrative fine, she is facing more serious problems. “She will be reported to the Klagenfurt public prosecutor. The offences are resistance to state authority and attempted bodily harm,” the police explain.
Why tried? The officer who was attacked was not injured by the blow.
