A couple from Upper Austria paid 400 euros for two tickets to the group Coldplay, which is currently causing a massive stampede in Vienna. But the tickets were never there…
The alleged provider who sold the tickets online via the ‘willhaben’ platform was apparently a fraudster. Because they were not activated via the “Ticketmaster” platform as promised.
41 more victims across Austria
However, the victims were able to locate the suspected fraudster, who had not contacted us again, in the Carinthian municipality of St. Kanzian. In total, the man is said to have defrauded at least 41 other victims from all over Austria. The police are investigating and are asking other victims for information.
