After a 49-year-old was brutally murdered in Vienna-Favoriten last Sunday, further details have now become known. The suspect, her partner (39), also gave the reason that his wife had ‘kept an eye on other men’.

Woman found lifeless in apartment
After an emergency call from the 39-year-old, emergency services from the Favoriten city police command visited his apartment on the fifth floor of an apartment building in Columbusgasse on Sunday around 9:30 a.m. There they met the Austrian and his lifeless girlfriend and immediately called the emergency services. However, an emergency doctor could only determine that the woman was dead.
The woman had injuries to her neck, which police spokeswoman Julia Schick said indicated foul play. The Austrian was subsequently arrested.
