A Romanian worker in the municipality of Waldviertel in Groß-Siegharts (Lower Austria) went mad after cocaine abuse and serious injuries to three colleagues. An alarm search and resistance to state authority followed.
For no reason, a 25-year-old Romanian in a working-class house in Groß-Siegharts struck two compatriots on the head and bodies with a metal flashlight, seriously injuring them.
With a pickaxe against sleeping colleagues
Then he picked up a pickaxe. He walked into the room where his roommate slept on the bed and injured his head, ribs, left elbow and legs. After the insane act, the Romanian fled on foot.
Rescued on the street covered in blood
A work colleague was able to escape to the blood-stained street, where a driver discovered him and alerted rescue services and the police. The worker was arrested after an alarm search with a police dog. But he offered massive resistance.
Romanian attacked police officers
He tore himself from the back seat of the police car and tried to kick the officers. Even shackles didn’t stop the Romanian: while being escorted to the cell of the Raabs police station, he attacked two officers and grabbed the service weapon. The man is now incarcerated.
