Shock at the Opernring – Mission: Man lay lifeless in front of a Viennese sausage stall

Excitement Tuesday morning at the Vienna Opera Ring: around 6 a.m. a dead person was found near a sausage stand. Unfortunately, resuscitation was useless. The police are now investigating.

According to police spokesman Philipp Haßlinger, the operation took place around 6:20 am. The man was found lifeless in front of the snack stand and a tent was immediately set up at the crime scene. People on their way to work were shocked.

Cause of death still unknown
Attempts to immediately revive the rescue team failed and the man died at the scene. How the death could have happened has yet to be determined. “There is currently no evidence of murder,” Haßlinger told the “Krone”.

Further details will only be known once an autopsy result is available. According to initial information, there were no signs of murder.
