In the middle of the afternoon, on Wednesday between 2:35 p.m., some people from the Völkermarkt were terrified: shots were fired from a balcony in the city, some of them were probably fired specifically.
Shooting exercises with airsoft guns
An 18-year-old and two acquaintances, aged 15 and 13, were doing target practice. They used an airsoft gun with plastic bullets. The shooting exercises endangered countless people who used the sidewalks and the directly adjacent Packer Bundesstraße.
The three suspects are also suspected of deliberately shooting an 18-year-old pedestrian on the Völkermarkt at 1 p.m. and a 56-year-old pedestrian at 2:30 p.m.
Two pedestrians were slightly injured by projectiles
The 18-year-old received five blows to his right upper arm and the woman received one blow to her right upper arm. The plastic bullets caused minor injuries. The victims independently sought medical help.
A provisional weapons ban was issued against the three suspects; a report is made to the public prosecutor. The airsoft gun belonged to the 18-year-old.
