Who saw her? – Dog “Lasty” has been missing in the Rax area since Saturday

Date:

Elisabeth Egorova’s Sheltie dog ran away in a forest near the Edelweisshütte in the Rax area on Saturday. The owner has launched a massive search and is now asking the public for information.

An adorable dog named “Lasty” has been missing in the Rax area since Saturday, November 16. She stands out with her light brown, long hair – typical of the Shetland Sheepdog (Sheltie) dog breed. However: She is considered a bit timid, which makes the quest more difficult.

“Lasty” escaped from her owners on Saturday during a walk in a forest about 1.5 kilometers north of the Edelweisshütte on the border with Lower Austria. She has not been seen since.

Search in Styria and Lower Austria
The search is now in full swing, reports owner Elisabeth Egorova: “We search day and night, split up into search areas and even sleep there. We also distributed clothing and food everywhere.” Egorova and dedicated helpers are currently putting up search notices in the area, calling the huts and have already informed the police, hunters and the like – but so far without success.

Now they are hoping for information from the public: “If anyone sees the dog, please write down the GPS coordinates and the estimated time and report it to me. Please don’t catch her, she can run away,” says Egorova. “We do not lose hope,” she emphasizes and asks for feedback on 0676/7474367.
