50-year-old missing – Last seen at the train station: Linzer disappeared

50-year-old Daniel from Linz is missing. The man was last seen at the central station on Friday evening around 7 p.m. There has been no trace of him since. Information is requested on social media.

Gray hair, between 1.75 and 1.80 meters tall, a three-day beard – this is how the missing Daniel (50) from Linz is described by the association “Austria finds you”. The association exclaims on social media: “Every clue is important and helps us find a missing person!”

The 50-year-old was last seen on Friday evening around 7 p.m., police confirmed to the “Krone”. His whereabouts have been unknown since then; the man is considered missing and is wanted.

Dark vest and hood
According to “Austria finds you”, the missing person’s special features are his jeans, a dark vest and a hood.

In recent years, police across Austria have registered between 10,000 and 12,000 reports of disappearances per year. From a purely statistical point of view, missing persons return independently in 65 to 70 percent of the cases; the police find about a fifth to a quarter.
