Dr. Philipp Kloimstein, head of the Maria Ebene Clinic in Vorarlberg, knows why we often put too much stress on ourselves during the holidays. In an interview with ‘Krone’ he also reveals what you can do about it.
“Kron”: Christmas is just around the corner: what’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think of the holidays?
Philipp Klöimstein: For me personally it is a celebration of peace and quiet. A small pause in our lives, which often moves almost at the speed of light and in which we try to keep up day in and day out. At the same time, it is a state of emergency – for who isn’t? It is always said that retailers should be happy, expectations often rise immeasurably. But what is it actually about? About something very beautiful, the birth of a special child.
