A 33-year-old man died after falling about 40 meters from the roof of a high-rise building in Karlsruhe (Baden-Württemberg) in southern Germany.
The man allegedly drank alcohol together with another person on the flat roof of the thirteen-storey residential building, which is not accessible to the public, the public prosecutor’s office and the Karlsruhe police station announced.
No evidence of foul play
According to the initial findings of the investigation, the 33-year-old fell from the edge of the roof onto a lean-to around 8:45 am, without any outside influence. He died on the spot, it was said in the evening. According to the current state of the investigation, there are no indications of foul play.
