Officially known Linzer stabbers and victims have a criminal record

Date:

They have known each other for a long time, both have a criminal record, drink and use drugs together. And arguing too. But only one was clearly armed and stabbed. But the perpetrator only talks about a ‘key’ as a weapon – but that doesn’t work.

“We assume a knife or a knife-like object. The injury does not correspond to the responsibility of the suspect,” said prosecutor Ulrike Breiteneder in response to a “Krone” request. The 22-year-old Romanian, who admitted to stabbing a 21-year-old in the middle of Linzer Landstrasse on Sunday, claims he only had a key in his hand.

Sting hits the liver
But the knife went through the thick casing and into the stomach, even reaching the liver and wounding it. The victim is out of danger and has already been questioned. An investigation into intentional causing of serious bodily harm is currently underway. If the injury is potentially life-threatening, it can even lead to attempted murder. In any case, the perpetrator is in custody.

Arguing in a drunken state
The subject is blurred and unclear. Before the fatal stabbing, the duo had consumed alcohol and drugs together in an apartment. Then a fight broke out and they broke up. The two opponents met again on the country road, there were Zores again and the stabbing took place. Before that, the later victim allegedly told the perpetrator that he “didn’t want his girlfriend after all.”

Theft and burglary
The 22-year-old engraver has been convicted of theft and burglary and the victim also has an equally long criminal record.
