Oo.With 90 % representation at the table of teachers of non -university public education of the Basque autonomous community (CAV), they have urged the Ministry of Education of the Basque government to propose a “real” negotiation that will resume on their claims or the mobilizations.

At the moment no new meeting of the sectoral table has been convened, although there is an appointment on 7 March to tackle some specific aspects, but not of the entire negotiation.
The unions have asked the Ministry of Education to stop convening tables “without sufficient content at the last minute, to let the strategies to deactivate” and make proposals that respond to these requests.
Trade unions demand, among other things, the repair of purchasing power that the collective has lost in the past 13 years, which codes 23 %, as well as measures to rejuvenate the templates, to relieve their workload, to stabilize and guarantee public employment, and also guarantees a guarantee for professional health, Basque and equality.
If there is no response to these claims, they have warned: “We have sufficient power to continue the strikes.”
