On Saturday evening, a 65-year-old woman from Güssing in Neudau (Hartberg-Fürstenfeld District) fell with a scooter for children. Now she has succumbed to her serious head injury in the hospital.
On Saturday evening around 7.15 pm the Burgenland woman ran with her stepdaughter and two grandchildren. On the somewhat sloping walking and cycling path along the L435 from Unterlimbach in the direction of Neudau, on which there was also scattered slide, the woman drove with a scooter. She suddenly fell, the cause is still unclear.
It is clear that the 65-year-old was seriously head injury due to the fall. Rescue workers and an emergency doctor provided the unconscious woman, from the rescue helicopter Christophor 17, she was flown to the LKH Graz.
There she now succumbed to her injuries. The woman had not worn a helmet.
