EuroMillions now has a record profit in store after the last draw did not show a “5 plus 2 correct” bet slip in any of the nine participating countries. That means the draw on Friday night will be for an amount never seen before in any game of chance in Europe. There is still more than 215 million euros in the pot and that has now risen to exactly 230 million euros!
The historical maximum of EUR 230 million is exactly the upper limit for EuroMillions. The second prize category (“5 plus 1 right”) also benefits from this Europot limit, as the money that would exceed this limit of EUR 230 million will benefit the second price class.
Austria Bonus for win2day users
Five players from Austria recently managed to get “4 plus 2 right”. Three Viennese, one from Salzburg and one win2day user each won around 1,400 euros. And it was a win2day user who won the €100,000 Austria bonus.
If you don’t want to miss the chance of winning the record, you have until 6.30pm Friday to place your bet. If there was no “5 plus 2 correct” this time either, the Europot would not rise further and the next draw would again be exactly 230 million euros.
