On Maundy on Thursday, the Maria Lankowitz Volunteer Fire Brigade was challenged twice: first she was aware of the cemetery, a little later for a traffic accident. Fortunately, both incidents went out just right.
At 4 p.m. the fire brigade received a rather unusual alarm from Maria Lankowitz. The message was: “person in the cemetery under Gravestone”. But the visitor to the cemetery apparently had guardian angels on his side – when the emergency services arrived, passers -by had already freed him by somewhat raising the stone with United Forces. How the accident came about is still unclear, the accident did not have to be taken to the hospital.
Car crashed against the tree
Shortly after all the vehicles had returned, the next alarm came. Three vehicles immediately hurried to a car that had strayed off the street and crashed into a tree. The steering wheel had to be taken to the injured hospital. The fire brigade concluded the scene of the accident. Around 6.30 pm everyone could finally return to the Arsenaal.
