Despite the rainy weather conditions, the expected Easter travel wave started south on Friday morning. As the ÖAMTC reported, traffic disorders focused primarily on Tyrol and Salzburg. The Tauernautobahn (A10) was mainly affected, where kilometers of traffic jams for different tunnel construction locations were formed.
“Despite the bad weather, there was the announced Gulf of Easter on Friday morning,” reported the ÖAMTC mobility information on Friday morning. “The holidaymakers were limited to Tyrol and Salzburg.”
The Tauern Autobahn (A10) was again hit in Salzburg. There were more than an hour waiting for the construction sites between Golling and throwing. Furthermore in the south, the construction site with one track tunnel of the Flachau housing took care of approximately 20 kilometers of traffic jams.
