On a Friday of every day, a 12-year-old student was hit by a car on a protective path in Tyrol. The driver (36) had overlooked the boy behind a bus.
Shortly after 11 a.m., the 36-year-old local was driving her car west on the L9 in Sistrans. A bus stopped in the opposite lane. At the same time, the 12-year-old crossed the road behind the bus on a protective path, police said.
Brought to the Innsbruck clinic
A serious collision ensued. The student fell and suffered serious injuries. After the emergency, the boy was taken to the Innsbruck clinic. The driver of the car was not injured in the accident.
Approached by parcel deliverer
About an hour earlier, an 83-year-old pedestrian was hit by a parcel deliverer in Innsbruck-Arzl. The 50-year-old Bosnian had parked his van near a tobacconist on the sidewalk and overlooked the lady when turning. The local man fell to the ground and suffered serious injuries.
