Dramatic scenes on Saturday morning for a 21-year-old German in Finkenberg (Tyrol)! The man had jumped off a rock in the Zemm gorge and injured his shoulder while diving into the creek. He had to be saved by mountain rescue.
A canyoning group of six was on a tour of the Zemm Gorge in Finkenberg around 10:40 AM. In the area of the so-called “trident” the participants jumped from a rock about eight meters down into the stream.
The 21-year-old injured his shoulder while diving into the creek, police said. The man was rescued by the Mayrhofen mountain rescue service. He suffered injuries of unknown nature and was taken to the Mayrhofen Sports Clinic by the rescue team.
