The EU Court declared the EU committee’s decision not to publish SMS news from EU President -President Ursula von der Leyen and Pfizer -Baas Albert Bourla. Conclusion: The 66-year-old must publish her SMS messages “Pfizergate”.
A journalist from the “New York Times”, together with her newspaper, had called for access to all SMS messages that De Leyen and Bourla had exchanged between January 1, 2021 and 11 May 2022.
The committee had rejected this on the basis of the fact that such documents were not in their possession. The journalist was not satisfied with this – she and the newspaper fought against the verdict.
