Serious motorcycle accident on Sunday near Thiersee: A young German driver crashed with her machine and was taken to the Innsbruck clinic after the rescue. Initial information said she suffered life-threatening injuries.
At about 3:40 p.m., the 30-year-old German was driving her motorcycle on the provincial road in the municipality of Thiersee from the west towards Kufstein. The woman probably ended up in the oncoming lane and then for a previously unknown cause in the very tight bend of the right-hand turn there.

As a result, the motorcyclist fell about 25 meters over very steep forest terrain and was seriously injured under her motorcycle. Witnesses to the accident immediately provided first aid and started the rescue chain.
After the arrival of the Vorderthiersee volunteer fire brigade and the emergency doctor’s helicopter, the 30-year-old was rescued and taken by helicopter to the Innsbruck clinic with life-threatening injuries.
