Bibles were forbidden in Texas schools in Noverember 2024 because “sexual content” can be found in it. But the Word of God is faithful. In all public schools in the state, the ten commandments must be posted in the classes.
The US state of Texas adopted a new law on 22 June 2025 that prescribes the notification of the ten bids in all public school classes. The judge -Wing conservative governor Greg Abbott signed “Texas Senate Bill 10”.
According to the law, the posters must be confirmed to Exact 41 × 51 centimeters in size and reproduce a certain English version of the Ten Commandments.
Dedication during class
In addition, school areas can make a voluntary prayer period possible or read religious texts in the future during school – both for students and teachers, the “Spiegel” reports.
Critics: breaking with Constitution
Critics, on the other hand, see a break in the law with the constitution, which prescribes a strict separation of the state and the church. They warn that the law violates the religious freedom of children who belong to other religions – including students of Jewish, Muslim or secular background.
