Was already eradicated – car -eating parasite back: woman died

Date:

In fact, the dangerous fly-worm of the new world was already extinct, but now the carnivorous parasite is celebrating its terrible comeback. A woman died after an infection – now that hundreds of millions of flying are breeding to control the scourge.

The New World Brewing Fly has conquered parts of Central America and Mexico: a few weeks ago the first death took place in Honduras. An insect had flown in a woman’s mouth in Honduras and had taken her eggs in her larynx. After the worms came out, they ate themselves in the patient’s lungs, as “De Telegraaf” reported.

Larva came out of the nose while he sneezes
The newspaper reports about another lady who had to go on medical treatment for a larval contamination. The 57-year-old reports about the test: “During the bus ride, some worms were lost in my mouth,” said Reina Avila. “I had to sneeze a lot, and every time I came out. That was two days ago. I have a strong headache. I lick together. I feel it in my nose because it is so sensitive.”

Another terrible matter is known in which a 19 -day baby was hit in Honduras. In the San Pedro Sula Hospital, patients get nasal flushing to drive the screwworms in nostrils. A short moment is sufficient so that a fly can put your eggs in the skin. A single copy can take a maximum of 500 eggs.

Beef can die within two weeks
Fortunately, the cases of infected people are rare – usually farm animals are the purpose of the parasites. The larvae then eat through their meat. A beef can die within two weeks from the effects of an infection.

The US government is going unusual ways to master the problem. Billions of flies must be bred and then drop them out of aircraft via Mexico and South Texas. The men are made of invaluable value by radiation in advance, so they cannot fertilize women and the population of the fly -worn fly must be minimized by the new world. This is more effective and more environmentally friendly than exterminating the vermin by poison.

This method was used decades ago to eradicate the fly: in the 1960s the plague was fought so effectively.
