Dramatic scenes took place on Monday at the airport in the Somali capital Mogadishu. A Jubba Airways plane crashed as it landed, rolled over and caught fire. All 36 people on board survived.
The Fokker 50 passenger plane was en route from the city of Baidoa to Mogadishu when it crash-landed in Mogadishu for unknown reasons and then caught fire.
Lucky in Accident: All passengers and crew were able to escape from the plane, which came to rest on its roof, before parts of the wreckage went up in flames.
It is unclear what caused the twin-engine machine to crash and is now under investigation.
