Repsol has a net profit of 2,539 million euros in the first half of the year. Similarly, the company doubled its profit of 1,235 million euros for the same period last year.
Repsol’s adjusted net income to June, which specifically measures business performance, was EUR 3,177 million, with international business contributing approximately 56%. The main exponent was the field of exploration and production, which develops all its activities outside Spain.
Repsol’s earnings growth nearly tripled compared to the first six months of the previous year. The good results are due to the gradual increase in the prices of hydrocarbons and their derivatives, mainly due to the tensions caused by the war in Ukraine.
Thanks to the profit achieved, the company has cut off his debt net to 5,031 million euros.
