Fire alarm Wednesday night in Hatting in the Tyrolean Oberland: In the garden of an apartment building fire broke out for unknown reasons, which then spread to the building. An apartment was made uninhabitable by the fire – luckily no one was injured.
The fire brigade was called around 11:15 p.m. According to the police, the fire started in the garden. The flames then quickly spread to the balcony and the canopy above.
Neighbor sounded the alarm
“A neighbor noticed the fire and immediately called 112. The alarmed volunteer fire brigades in Hatting, Inzing and Zirl were finally able to fight the flames successfully,” the police said.
No one was injured, but the home was heavily damaged. The extent of the damage caused cannot yet be quantified. An apartment in the multi-tenant building had become uninhabitable due to the fire. The investigation into the cause is still ongoing.
