Fire alarm on Friday morning in Haiming in the Tyrolean Oberland: A fire has broken out for unknown reasons in the threshing floor of a farm. There are currently several fire brigades present.
At exactly 9.26 am, the emergency call was received by the Tyrol control center. “Currently, the fire brigades of Haiming, Haimingerberg, Silz and Ötztal-Bahnhof are on site,” he said at the request of “Krone”. According to the current status, at least one person is injured. “She was taken to hospital with suspected smoke inhalation.”
The fire was apparently brought under control relatively quickly. “Shortly after 10 a.m. we were told that extinguishing work was being carried out,” said the control room. An eyewitness reported to Krone around 10:15 a.m. that he “still smokes quite a bit.” Hay was not stored on the threshing floor until Thursday.
