The long weekend has started with major delays on several travel routes in Austria. Starting in Germany, a traffic jam due to border controls and congestion at the Walserberg border crossing on the Westautobahn (A1) in Salzburg reached about 22 kilometers on Saturday morning as far as the Tauernautobahn (A10).
