In a letter to some 144,000 companies in the city, Vienna calls for the corona vaccination to be refreshed. Attention is drawn to the various possibilities for employees to take the next step. More than 50 people per company who want to be vaccinated can go to the company doctor for the vaccination.
The notice of appeal was written together with the Chamber of Commerce, the Medical Association and the Federation of Industry (IV). According to the office of Alderman for Public Health Peter Hacker (SPÖ), about 30,000 companies have so far participated in the company vaccination.
10,400 Austrians have already received a fourth stitch
More than a million people work in Vienna – including about 274,000 commuters. According to statistics, 865,000 employees (84 percent) in Viennese companies have been vaccinated at least twice and almost 650,000 three times. 10,400 have already taken the fourth trick.
The daily capacity is currently 2300 vaccinations per day
The daily capacity for corona vaccinations in Vienna is currently around 2,300 per day, with the Austria Center Vienna and the seven municipal vaccination centers also acting as contact points. According to the hacker bureau, the capacity can be increased to 9,000 per day depending on demand.
