Stormont’s education minister said 28 Northern Ireland schools would benefit from the 79.794 million investment.
Speaking at the association, Michelle McKelvin said investment is necessary to “enable young people to reach their full potential” in “modern, purpose-built schools”.
The investment will be used in projects such as new buildings, expansion and renovation of existing school buildings or the Small Capital Small Business Program.
The Minister of Education added that the project construction costs will not be implemented before the end of this contract.
The investment is expected to benefit 25,000 students in Northern Ireland schools.
Minister Mulvin said: “I have been to many schools and for the first time have witnessed not only the huge amount of work that is being done in each school, but also the need for appropriate levels of investment in our school structure, whether it is new buildings, the expansion and renovation of existing school buildings, or the head Small money with business software.
