With six days left for the composition of the Pamplona City Council, EH Bildu has proposed a programmatic agreement to the rest of the progressive forces, as well as some basic principles governing government action.
The EH Bildu candidate for mayor of Pamplona, Joseba Asironindicated this Monday that “without a veto to EH Bildu, the possibilities of the right are 0” and announced that PSN is the only progressive group that refuses to support the abertzale formation.
Asiron appeared before the media this Monday to explain the state of the negotiations in the absence of six days before the composition of the Pamplona City Council that, if there is no news, the UPN candidate, Cristina Ibarrola, will lead.
The Abertzale candidate has said that this right-wing option “is open when EH Bildu is vetoed” and that this option should not be viable as “there is a real possibility that there will be a progressive government in Iruñea with 16 progressive councillors”.
EH Bildu has reached out psn, gero bai And With you Navarre and only the PSN has refused to take Asiron to the mayor’s office. The coalition will not interfere with the Navarra government’s negotiations, but if no agreement is reached in the city council, “obviously it won’t be a good start.”
A programmatic agreement on the table
EH Bildu has proposed one programmatic agreement to the rest of the progressive forces, as well as some basic principles that govern government action.
First of all, “I respect of all forces to the principle of legitimacy of the progressive force with the most votes to obtain the support of the rest to obtain the mayor’s office”. Second, “the agreement as the fundamental basis that gives meaning to a diverse and pluriform government” and thus to its “ordinary” way of working.
The third principle is that of “loyalty” both to the programmatic agreement that is reached, and to the decisions that are made within government, for which “extreme care will always be taken in the way they are prepared, contrasted, agreed upon and developed”.
