The rumor mill is spinning – and not just now, if we’re being precise. Because the talk that is currently being told behind closed doors continues to surface and persist.
They are: State Governor Peter Kaiser (SPÖ) will resign this year – and some people also want to know who is likely to succeed him. These predictions have little to do with the rather bitter results of the Reds in the EU elections – they existed before.
Will Kaiser remain LH?
And what’s going on? LH spokesperson Andreas Schäfermeier knows more: “The governor is known for doing what he says and saying what he does.” And so far he has always said that he will remain in office until the end of the legislature, that is, until the year 2028.
“Exactly,” Schäfermeier confirms: “He will end the legislature as LH. Because there is still a lot to do and continuity is needed, especially in times like these.”
