After the greatest prisoners exchange between Russia and Ukraine since the start of the war three years ago, praised by the Kremlin as a “trust building”, blood consumption continues with full hardness.
It was the second night in a row in which Russia started a major attack on Ukraine. The attack on Sunday evening was apparently even more extensive. Foreign Minister Andrij Sybiha spoke for many weeks about the most massive Russian air raid and a difficult Sunday for Ukraine with a sleepless night. Russia used hundreds of drones, cruise rockets and ballistic rockets against cities and municipalities. “While the whole world puts an end to killing, Putin arranges even more successes, attacks and murders of children,” Sybiha wrote on the platform X. It takes an unconditional and sustainable ceases -the fires for peace negotiations. The global community should increase pressure on the Russian head of the state of Vladimir Putin.
In the early morning, authorities had reported an attack with “dozens of drones” on Kiev and warned of a possibly the next rocket attack. Mayor Vitali Klitschko said there was an “attack” on the city, but the air defense was active. “Stay in hiding places,” he ordered. Explosions were heard.
According to official information, at least one dozen people were killed last night and much more injured in Ukraine. According to civil protection, two children aged eight and twelve died in the Schytomyr region and a 17-year-old. According to the emergency services, at least four people were killed in Kiev’s most important city region. Four dead were also reported in the Chmmelnyzkyj region and a dead man in the South -Ukrainian Mikolajiw.
298 drones and 69 missiles meet Ukraine
“More than a dozen enemy drones” were in airspace above the capital, the head of the military administration of Kiev, Tymur Tkaschenko, said on Telegram. “Some drones about Kyiv and the area have already been shot,” said it. Other drones, however, went to the capital, he warned. Drone rubble had already fallen on a house with five malfunctions. According to the Ukrainian information, a total of 298 drones and 69 rockets will probably have been fired on Ukraine.
Civilian goals
The deputy army manager of the Chmmelnyzkyj region west of Kyiv reported four dead. “Last night the Chmmelnyzkyj region was hit by enemy Russian attacks in which civil infrastructure was destroyed. Unfortunately, four people were killed,” said Sergij Tjurin in Telegram’s online service and added that five people were injured.
Nocturnal attacks were also reported from the South -Ukrainian regions of Herson and Mikolajiw. According to emergency services, a man was killed in a drone attack on a residential building in Mikolajiw.
Air traffic in Moscow temporarily affected
The mayor of Moscow, Sergej Sobjanin, said that twelve drones traveling to the Russian capital could be intercepted. According to the Russian Civil Aviation Authority, air traffic was limited at at least four airports, including the largest ScheremjeWo airport in Moscow. The Russian armed forces reported a total of 110 intercepted Ukrainian drones. 13 of them were intercepted above the area in Moscow and the TWer area adjacent to the capital, said the Ministry of Defense. In the beginning there was no information about victims. The ministry also opened how many drones Ukraine as a whole had attacked.
Huge combined attack
Already last night there was a “combined” attack of drones and rockets on Kiev. According to Ukrainian information, Russia attacked 14 ballistic rockets with 250 drones. The Ukrainian Air Force said they had intercepted 245 drones and six rockets. Only 15 people were only injured in Kiev.
