Murat Yakin, Swiss national coach, announced this Friday a first choice of players for the European Championship in Germany. The list includes 38 football playersfrom which the travelers would finally emerge on German soil.
21 of these 38 players will participate in the first phase of concentration, this coming Monday at the facilities of Saint-Gall. The other 17 are still involved in various competitions with their respective ones clubsthat’s why the coach included many players young people “that they will have the possibility to get the position in final list“, warned Yakin.
Some players will leave the camp after the first friendly scheduled during the camp, on June 4 against Estonia, in Lucerne. And the day before the second friendly, scheduled for June 8 match Austria in Saint-Gall, the final list will be announced, which Yakin wants to make based on 24 football players: 3 goalkeepers and 21 field players.
The state of Plunger and ZakariaMonaco players suffering from discomfort, is one of the major doubts regarding the final composition of the squad.
The ‘absent’ players must join the concentration on May 31st. The final list will be announced before June 7th, deadline imposed by UEFA for the publication of calls.

Defenses: Aurèle Amenda, Albian Hajdari, Becir Omeragic, Bryan Okoh, Cédric Zesiger, Fabian Schär, Kevin Mbabu, Leonidas Stergiou, Manuel Akanji, Nico Elvedi, Ricrado Rodríguez, Silvan Widmer and Ulisses García.
Midfielders and forwards: Ardon Jashari, Denis Zakaria, Fabian Rieder, Granit , Steven Zuber, Zeki Andouni and Xherdan Shaqiri.
