After the bomb attack on the daughter of Russian extremist Alexander Dugin, the rumor mill turns.
She was considered a staunch supporter of the Russian war of aggression in Ukraine – over the weekend Darya Dugina, the daughter of the influential and right-wing nationalist philosopher Alexander Dugin, was killed by a car bomb. As krone.at reported, the vehicle immediately caught fire and the 29-year-old journalist and political scientist didn’t stand a chance.
Moscow blames a Ukrainian hitman named Natalya Vovk for the murder (see photo below) — and is now hunting the 43-year-old. She is said to have fled to Estonia with her 12-year-old daughter after the crime. But this shouldn’t have been her last station: Rumors circulated on the Telegram shopping service that Vovk had been spotted in a hotel at Vienna’s main train station on Monday evening — accompanied by two other women and a child. From there she would have continued to flee. The Ministry of the Interior is investigating.
Lavrov: “No mercy for masterminds”
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov spoke in Moscow on Tuesday about a “barbaric crime” against Darya Dugina. “There can be no mercy on the organizers, customers and artists,” he added. Lavrov assumed that in the case “the investigation will hopefully be concluded soon”.
