Tyrolean cop thriller: A woman who is said to have betrayed Turkish compatriots has been arrested.
The State Security and Intelligence Directorate (DSN) has been investigating a trio (two men and a woman) with Turkish roots for more than six months. It is said to have betrayed political opponents of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan – especially supporters of the preacher Gülen, who lives in exile in the US and are mortal enemies of the Turkish sultan – to their country’s intelligence service.
They were spied on in stages and mosques. 800 people were delivered to the knife. After extensive reporting, the suspicion is now apparently confirmed against the woman. The suspected spy is trapped in Innsbruck.
